A really traditional restaurant presented in a fresh, modern way. Great service and ambience and the food quality is top notch. Not as inexpensive as other, on the go, sushi bars, but everything here reflects quality and promotes a appreciation for spending a relaxing evening, in good company while enjoying the best that Japanese cousine has to offer.
Despite the extremely positive reviews we must say that this palace was quite disappointing. The local is nice and small. You can see the chefs working but the size of the sushi (nighiri and uramaki) was huge! Too big to fit one bite in your mouth as it should be...then the fish quality was just above average, i mean not like all you can eat restaurants but just a little better. I was expecting much more from Kiko, given also the higher price, and comparing it to other restaurants like this such as Take...no match unfortunately, I would say quality price ratio is completely imbalanced, if I had to choose a high level sushi restaurant i would suggest others. The tempura was unfortunately very heavy and greasy, the opposite of what I have experienced in other places in Rome. I had great expectations, but I was let down.
This Japanese restaurant is one of the top rated restaurants in the area but also very expensive. The atmosphere and the seating area was chilled with some classic music in the background. Also this a bar area. They served us very small plates of complementary seaweed salad but not sure if it was seaweed. Waiters speak English and they had English menu, so you will be good if you only can communicate in English. Overall, the food was great, especially anything with salmon, and the soya sauce was well balanced.
Awesome sushi restaurant. The service is very subtle and the vibe is overall chill. The master chef and his team quietly churn out dishes behind the sushi bar as patrons patiently wait. The seafood was as fresh as it comes. The portions were large for sushi...and we got carried away with ordering... so we left with basically an entire meal to go. What an experience it was. Make sure to make a reservation.

We had a Damijan Ribolla Gialla 2016 (3-4 bottles I guess).
Service is also top! Location beautiful and minimal as a good japanese styled restaurant should be!

Truly parallel to sushi in Japan. They provide the exact sources for all of their fish in the menu and give only prime cuts. Excellent!
Amazing sushi, probably the best in Rome! Tempura and Kiko salad (with plenty of raw fish and sesame seasoning) are also excellent. Wide choice of rolls and nigiri. Beware: they are very, very large!
The area is not one of the best in Rome but it is still in the center. The sushi and the other food was amazing. I've been there during lunch time. I could have order either a la carte or the lunch menu. I had the salad with sashimi and the sushi salmon. Fresh and very tasty. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and cozy.
